Home for All

Imagine a place where you feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed. It's where each of us can start to lose our lostness and discover new friends and relax a bit.  At Wantage Community Church, our vision is to be such a home, for everyone.

People felt at home around Jesus, and our prayer is that, as we work together, we will become a home where anyone and everyone feels welcomed and included. We seek to create space for people, for prayer, for God, for worship, for learning ... where heaven can touch earth. 

Space to Encounter God

Our heartfelt belief is that God deeply desires to be in personal relationship with each and every one of us.  Our aim is to provide opportunities to experience the presence of God and allow him to work in us to become the people he made us to be.

Family for Discipleship

A family brings stability, growth and warmth to a community. That's why God has a simple plan: family of every size.  At Wantage Community Church, our vision is to be a large, inclusive, loving, forgiving, gracious, encouraging family, with good relationships between each of us. Singles, marrieds, old, young ... all part of a big family.

You and I were made by God with intention, purpose, and design. Imagine a place where those things are nurtured and come to full, healthy, expression. The bible calls that process of growth discipleship. It's about a loving call up to be the amazing person God created you to be. We pursue that.

Base for Sending

One of the great privileges of any church is to see people living out the call God has on their lives. At Wantage Community Church, we have vision to "send" people locally - everyone in their daily lives "sent" to their communities to share the power, love, and salvation that God offers people. We also love to commission people to go to other places, short term or long term, near or far, to see God and his goodness more known.

To see people released like that, we aspire to be a base: a place of solidity, support, strength and training.
